Help us raise plenty pounds for post production
In order for us to finish editing ‘I am Ruthie Segal, Hear Me Roar’ we need to raise a little more money so we’re having a Pecha Kucha party and we’d love you to come…
The Pecha Kucha form is a fast, creative presentation form that has been sweeping international art and design communities. Each presenter is allowed 20 images. Each image is shown for 20 seconds, amounting to 6 minutes and 40 seconds of fame before the next presenter is up.
Our Pecha Kucha theme will be Girlhood and those already lined up to present include comedian and Guardian columnist Shazia Mirza, film maker Lisa Gornick and TV producer Eleanor Greene with more to be announced shortly.
Date: 22nd October 2009
Venue: The Black Cap, 171 Camden High Street NW1
Time: 7.30pm
Tickets: Please spend as much on your ticket as you feel comfortable spending - £10, £15 or £20 – the choice is yours. Just click on the tickets you’d like and you can pay by paypal. If you can't come but would like to donate please go to our Donate page.
10% of the proceeds from the evening will go to the Poppy Project, a London based feminist charity providing supported housing to vulnerable women, women trafficked into prostitution, and those who have experienced domestic violence
